ESAC, Inc. receives a 10-year Measure and Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract
August 1, 2018
ESAC has been awarded the Measure and Instrument Development and Support (MIDS) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) covering measures program support, maintenance of evaluation instrument data systems, quality measures implementation and data collection vehicles. Measure development and maintenance work under the IDIQ contract focus on six quality priorities: safety; community health; caregiver- and individual-focused experience and outcomes; cost reduction and efficiency; care coordination; and clinical quality of care.
The MIDS contract provides a vehicle to objectively evaluate and promote quality of care within the Federal quality reporting programs by aligning with the Measures Management System (MMS) Blueprint, a comprehensive and structured process for developing and maintaining evidence-based clinical quality measures.
ESAC's technical savvy and personable staff provides tremendous value to projects involving multi-center coordination and high dimensional data management. They merge a fundamental understanding of biology with expertise in data quality control and data security. Integrating all of these factors is key to delivering a secure and fast data portal for the scientific community.
