The Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT has awarded ESAC, Inc. a contract to provide Program and Project Management Support for the Standards and Interoperability (S&I) Framework.
Under this contract, ESAC will provide support for various initiatives to develop standards and processes for harmonization and coordination of federal and private efforts for interoperability and health information exchange, and to provide health IT innovations. This includes use cases and requirements development, standards and harmonization activities, reference implementation, and pilots management services. Further support will be provided through managing the day to day project administration activities for each initiative, maintaining the initiative wikis and website content, and coordinating and facilitating both internal and community-facing meetings.
ESAC's technical savvy and personable staff provides tremendous value to projects involving multi-center coordination and high dimensional data management. They merge a fundamental understanding of biology with expertise in data quality control and data security. Integrating all of these factors is key to delivering a secure and fast data portal for the scientific community.
